Here’s a thread that provides insightful information in regards to this. In short, deselect Project Settings > Application > Config > Quit On Go Back and Auto Accept Quit in the same category and intercept the NOTIFICATION_WM_GO_BACK_REQUEST and NOTIFICATION_WM_QUIT_REQUEST notifications.
