Is it possible to apply theme color to button icon?

I try to use the icon property of a button, but I cannot find how to make it colored on button press using a theme like the button text. (Essentially I want the icons to work like the icon buttons in the editor).

I use svg icons (I'm trying the icons from the godot git).

There may not be a way to do that except for if you program it yourself. I looked around because I needed the same thing and I can't find anything on it.
