platformer besides ladders portals and fireballs is there any thing else?

I making a super Mario Brother platformer like game!
how about going down pipes or getting mushrooms to get bigger?
can we do 2 players
how about using a joystick instead of keys
or how about those blocks with an ? mark
can we do more than 1 kind of enemy at the same time

You can do all those things but it takes a lot of work, nobody can explain every step of that in a reply. You will need to do some tutorials on godot and work out for yourself how you want to achieve your game.
