RigidBody2D character with colision2d,and Wall/platform (staticbody2d) with collision, How can i smooth the collision?

I have a character that walks around and can jump on platforms. When i collide or fall off the platform, the character suddenly rotates in mid air. How can i smooth this process? This happens especially when sliding off the edges or walking in to walls, then the character goes wonky. Wobbles for a bit then comes back standing.

Any tips?

If you don’t want the rotation, check that it’s mode is set to Character.
