Is there a way to limit the FPS in the editor?

In my current scene the editor runs with 700 to 1300 frames per second. Vsync is enabled, but it only seems to work for release or debug mode. In the editor, nothing changes in the fps. The “max fps” setting does not change anything either.

Is there a way to make the editor run at 60 fps only?

If you have a Nvidia gpu you can limit the fps in the Nvidia Control panel or force V-Sync.
Also you can use MSI Afterburner to limit fps.

I have tested it, but unfortunately it does not bring any improvement. The FPS in the editor remain above 700.
