I want apply_central_impulse()on an object, but only works on global coordinates . I wonder if there is a way to apply an impulse to local coordinates ?, because when the object is looking at coordinated z apply impulse it goes forward, but if looking at x it keeps going to z

I add the same question and found the answer myself: see here

it's for forces, but works the same for impulses. Just ignore the pos for central.
