I've heard some news about this from somewhere. And I'm working on a project which uses C# as the scripting language. I'm afraid of writing codes that cannot be used in future Godot releases. Due to some reasons, C# is just the best choice compared to GDScript.

I dont think that will happen, given that they have a person working full time thanks to a Microsoft grant, and they announced they were looking for funds to continue hiring him after the grant is over.

Agreed. That, and C# certainly makes the engine more attractive to a broader audience, as well as putting it more in parity with other major game engine players. I certainly think it's here to stay, though I don't know anything official.
