I'm trying to create a fadeout-fadein effect for scene transitions. I have a Singleton control node with an animation player and a colorRect that has fadeIn and fadeOut animations. The problem is this:
enter image description here

It covers a small part of the screen(screenshot zoomed in to show it better) and it's not in front of everything else. Any ideas how to make it so? Thanks!

If you want it to cover more of the screen, make it bigger. If you want to put it in front of everything else, change its z-layer or put it as a child of a canvaslayer node.

The last thing worked, thank you!
