Any difference in performance between Particles2D and AnimatedSprite?

I am using Pixel FX to create some animations, such as a torch fire, and a question arose: what is better? Create the particles inside Godot or export the frames (via another program) and from there use AnimatedSprite?

I think the AnimatedSprite is better but it isn’t important because the diffrence should be very small if you don’t use thousand of particle at the same time.
