Normal maps are used for lighting in 2D games. If you add a normal map and a light the texture will appear to have depth.

so how to add a light to the project
is there is a node for it or just a sprite node
if you can lead me into a tuto that will be better

i have found a light node but there is no normal map slot in it

The Sprite uses the Normal Map to add extra information for the Light2D to work with.
A Light2D tho uses a Texture to cast light. Just try it out! The best way of gettings strted is to use a gradient circle with a transparent background as the lights texture.

thank you for your answer
