I’m new to both Blender and Godot. I’m trying to implement root motion with Mixamo animation.
I’m able to create a RootMotion
bone which has all of the xyz transformation movements for an animation in blender.
I export the animation as .fbx
file and import it into godot. I created a node AnimationTree and assigned RootMotion
bone to it. I’m using RootMotionView
to view the motion.
Animation is playing perfectly, but the RootMotionView
grid snaps back everytime the animation ends. In the game, the player moves with the animation, but everytime the animation ends, snap back to the animation start position.
I’m not sure what I’m missing - if its something I’m not doing in blender or godot.
